ODA Board 

Profile of Board Members 

By our Constitution, ODA has the following officers with it's implied roles and responsibilities.

The Board of Directors provides strategic leadership, accountability, and vision for all our programs and community initiatives. Each member brings dedication, integrity, and a deep commitment to the progress and wellbeing of Ogberuru indigenes at home and abroad.

  1. President – Dr. Edith Mbagwu 
    Provides overall leadership, represents the association, and guides strategic direction.

  2. Vice President – Chinemerem Iheme 
    Supports the President and oversees key organizational functions.

Mission

Our mission is to create positive change by uniting community members from Ogbururu and tackling local challenges head-on. Through advocacy work and collaborative projects, we aim to foster a sense of belonging and empowerment within the USA for all Ogberuru indigens and to leverage our collective power to move the wheels of progress more rapidly at home in Nigeria, serving all of Ogberuru and its neighbors.

By engaging with all Ogberuru indigenes, in-laws from Nigeria and other countries we build stronger bonds for all our stakeholders, we strive to amplify diverse voices and create impactful solutions that address the root causes of community issues.
