Ogberuru Development Association (ODA, Inc.) is a non-profit organization based in the US dedicated to the Nigerian community from Ogbururu in Imo State, Nigeria. Our vision is to foster a sense of community, advocate for positive change, and empower residents to actively participate in shaping the future of our neighborhoods. We aim to address social issues, promote inclusivity, and build a strong, united community.

Current Priority Project: 

Rebuilding Ogberuru Secondary School

Ogberuru Secondary School has suffered severe damage, leaving classrooms, laboratories, and essential facilities in urgent need of restoration.

Our Immediate Goals Include:

  • Water access, hygiene, and sanitation

    • Relief Network Min., Inc has provided a new borehole. We need to secure the borehole, the new water tank, and the stand. We also need to secure the solar panels & controller that will help pump water from the well and deliver it to the overhead tank.

  • Major renovations of damaged classrooms and school buildings

  • Construction of modern toilets for students and teachers

  • Establishment of a functional staff library

  • Creation of a well‑equipped student library

  • Rebuilding science laboratories to support quality education

These improvements will restore dignity, safety, and hope to hundreds of students and teachers.
